A series of 15 seconds ad for LBC in the Philippines, Funny spots:)

Good Cop!

It's nice to know that there are still good cops around, sworn to protect and true to their oath. This incident took place when 3 armed men tried to rob a passenger bus in Quezon city, an undercover cop took courage and gunned down 2 of the robbers while the other surrendered. Very heroic indeed! We should have more of these good cops! (have anyone noticed the undercover cop is a lefty?)

Alec Baldwin's Bad Joke

It was during his guesting at the David Letterman Show when he kids about getting a Filipino "Mail Order Bride" (at 0:32), this sparked anger from Filipinos worldwide, even some prominent politicians demanded an apology from the Academy nominee actor (anyone remembers Terri Hatcher's line on Desperate Housewives?).

After having said that, and the fury from Filipinos worldwide, Baldwin posts his apology on his blog.

It's been a while since my last dj battle in Dubai and the UK. (A Filipino reppin' Kuwait, UAE and the GCC to the world), I was wondering, how is the hip hop scene back home? Philippine Independence Design

Here's a design I made for the 111th Philippine Independence Day, I was commissioned by the Philippine Embassy committee to work on the design part. It will be their official design that will be used in all of the materials for the event! Hope this one works though. If you have the patience to look through the details, you'd definitely understand what this explosion of organized graphics mean. Enjoy!

Branding in the Ring

Have anyone noticed the branding of the Pacquiao team? I guess I'm only one of the few, obviously everyone's focused on the brawl between the Pacman and the Hitman :) This snap shows how well the branding is being applied, from the jacket, Mart's belt (ear plugs?), Kiko's (RIP) 3 Stars & a Sun Tees, the Philippine flag in the background, it's just amazing! (I like Mart's version of the Philippine National Anthem, btw)

Boogie's Birthday!

Santa Cruzan 2009

The Annual Santa Cruzan happened at the Holy Family Cathedral church, organized by the Filipino Catholic Community this afternoon and Aliyah is a part of the Reyna's angels :) I really like the idea they came up with to showcase Senior Filipinas for the Reynas instead of the cliché young and beauty queen-ish sagalas. It was a very short notice and Pinky have to do some running around for Aliyah's dress and shoes for the parade. Thankfully, we got everything and all was set. It was a great event, reminds me of "Flores De Mayo" in the Philippines!
