2008 DMC DJ Championship - RP Finals!

Who's it gonna be? Who is the lucky brown man turntablist reppin' the Philippines to the world? Battling it out to the crown is a line up of Philippines finest DJs: DJ 3gah, DJ Bass Boy, DJ Gu Goo, DJ J1, DJ Jet, DJ Red-I, DJ Rockadelic, DJ Skin Khadafi, and DJ Tong

Finals will be held tomorrow, 20th of August at the Hard Rock Café in Makati City.

Itching For The Scratch?

Here's a snap of my dj gear at home, well, this one's for my personal use. I have a couple of Technics 1210s in the flight case and a pair of 1200s in the road case as well. I got this pair of MKG1210s and the DMC Battle mixer from the DMC Dubai finals, a part of their major prize! I hooked the 'tables up with my FS2 preamp and a 15" Macbook Pro, speakers is powered by Bose. My needles is a pair of "signed & tagged" Ortofon Qbert :-) This is what I use during my free time where I normally practice my routines and itch for the skratch!

G meets Q

It was a great gig at the launching of the 2007 DMC Technics DJ Championships in Dubai, UAE! With the legendary Dj Qbert opening the event for the Middle East finals, I get to Jam with Q, we chill at the lounge and have my vinyls and slipmats tagged :-) Pretty cool guy, It was awesome watching him scratch live and of course, playing with him and using his sets! Yee-hah!
